Steampunk Headphones Details by RubberCucumber Steampunk Headphones Details by RubberCucumber
As you see: I've modded old American headphones (such a sixty years old) to postmodern Steampunk headphones! The detail pictures! I've used:

- Leather
- Wheels from a clock
- Old headphones
- A new wiring from a modern set of headphones

Well, they aren't comfortable, but they still work!!! And I haven't given them a new inside, like Lowriders from Skullcandy. They have only a new wiring and they are Steampunk modded! And the screws I maybe had to have, were hard to find. I could only buy them in America.

I'm proud of it!!

:iconporkshanks: wrote a kinda tutorial for vintage headphones on the internet :)

hmm looks good, but the clock parts arnt very practicle, seems like they would either cut you or your hair would get wrapped in them..., and you think gum is bad...

No, on the first sight... They aren't very practical. I haven't had that my hair was wired in it.

Gum isn't that bad, but mostly I prefer to solder them, because I think that's more natural :)

Sometimes I use glue, because it's such a drama to solder it!

But thanks :)
