Finally I've finished the present for my brother. He liked 'Wing of Time' and he asked me for a pleasure: that I could (please, p-l-e-a-s-e, PLEASE) make something like that for him. My pleasure
Well, actually it's almost the same idea like the other one, 'Wing of time' (displayed at the top of my page).
Time is young and wise, and always with you. It can't fly away, that's the reason why Time always is with you.
I've made it from a old watch, some pieces from a alarm clock, a iron/bronze wing, the left key from my brother's desk (it was voluntarily, and his idea), my old necklace and... a kinda picture from the Virgin (in memoriam from my grandmother, who found it and it's a thing what my mother kept in her jewelcase).
Well, actually I don't know if my brother would like it. He can't hang this on his neck when he'll going out. Well, it's very tiny. I haven't given it a giant chain, like a rosary, what he would like. I'll see.
It's not the most beautiful jewel I've ever made and I'll never be hundred percent content. And I know the display sucks, but it was the only manner to make a normal picture.
But... It's a sign for him. Welcome to the Clockwork Kingdom, brother!
My brother's opinion: 'Oh man, look at this! This looks great! I'm very happy with it!' And he won't wear it, because it was too heavy...
I like it very much and would add it to my favourites if it weren't for one tiny flaw. There's no clockwork behind that clock face. It clearly reads QUARTZ, which means that it's electronic.
I know, but in a country like this are wind up watches very hard to find (and I don't know exactly how I can repair them). And besides, it was the watch what fitted by my idea
I promise: next time I'll use a non-electronic watch
